Rivarolo Canavese is a historic community in the Province of Turin, in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy. The subalpine area known as the Canavese was once of strategic importance. The 14th century Castle of Malgra in Rivarolo Canavese was built by the powerful counts of San Martino when they ruled the Canavese.
