Pros: The hotel due mondi is in a really, good, central location and the breakfast is pretty good for an all inclusive breakfast in italy.
Cons: The rooms are typically small (normal in italy). however the "standard" rooms are quite old and in desperate need of renovation and a really good clean - with much dust accumulated under the bed on top of the wall mounted tv and inside the air conditioner grill. the small bedside lights were broken & actually fell off the wall causing a near electrocution to my wife! we had unseasonably warm weather, and typical of the regulations in italy regarding air-conditioning, ours was barely operating meaning at night the room was uncomfortably warm. we left the large window open which helped but with only one window there was little cross-breeze to assist. some of the hotel staff were rather indifferent (except the young lady who worked in the breakfast room & reception - very helpful). also many websites advertise free internet - a major reason for our booking here as i had some business to attend to, however we were required to pay for internet at the rate of 5 euro per hour! finally, while many websites show the deluxe rooms, they only show the cost of the standard rooms - we peaked inside a deluxe room & they looked quite nice (and much larger) but beware about website photos showing these rooms & then booking a standard room which is much different.
