Hotels in Venezia
The province of Venezia (Venice) is located in the northern Italian region of Veneto; its eastern border is bathed by the Adriatic Sea. The province is most well known for its capital city, also called Venice, the most important city in northeastern Italy and considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This city is essentially an island, located in Venice Lagoon and is the Italian city that sees the highest number of tourists each year. More precisely, though, the city is made of 118 small islands that are connected by 354 bridges and connected by 177 canals. Besides visiting Venice out of interest for the structure of the city, you should check out the numerous historical and artistic attractions, including the Byzantine Basilica of San Marco and Palazzo Ducale. When visiting the province, you should also head out of the capital city to check out towns like Jesolo. Attractions here include the beauty of the natural landscape, as well as various museums and archaeological sites.
