Jesolo is a beach resort town in the region of Veneto, north of Venice, on the Adriatic coast. The beach itself, roughly 15 km in length, is world renowned, with beach volley pitches and the ability to practice windsurfing. You can enjoy horse-back riding, bicycle excursions and boat excursions in the natural landscape that surrounds the village. There are beach parties, music on the beach in the summer and sand sculptures to admire.
When you’re visiting Jesolo, you should stop by Aqualandia Park, a water park that tries to simulate a Caribbean Island in the middle of the Adriatic Sea. You can also check out the Jesolo Golf Club, which not only has an excellent golf course, but offers a golf shop, a golf Club House, and a golf academy. You can also enjoy some history while you’re in Jesolo, by visiting the Torre Caligo, the remains of a medieval tower and the archaeological area called “Le Mure”, or “the Walls”. If you’re looking for a water and culture weekend, Jesolo is the place for you!
