 "No major problems"
Overall, quite acceptable (an earthquake occurred at 4 a.m.). The staff was helpful and the breakfast was solid. Their advertising promised a balcony but both I and my friends in a separate room were given rooms in the basement that opened onto a wall.

 "It was an excellent deal for the money"
Pros: It was an excellent deal for the money. bus no 7 across the street was very convenient to go to venice.
Cons: Most of the restaurants were closed during the vacation season. one had to go to mestre station to get late night dinner!
