"Excellent and quaint a definite must in venice"

Recently renovated, it provides its guests with beautiful rooms, complete with private bathrooms and all of the amenities. Pros: Had a good room over looking a canal where we could hear the gondaliers seranading their customers. hotel was very close st.marks square.
Cons: There is no lift in this hotel, we had a room on the very top floor and had to carry our heavy bags up a number of stairs to reach our room which proved quite a challange as the stair ways are very narrow and awkward.

Pros: Great location, very central. room was very nice.
Cons: Tight stairs, stayed on 4th floor. had to check out early, so we were left lugging our luggage down 4 flights of windy stairs. staff wasn't terribly accommodating but weren't rude.
