The hotel is very conveniently located next to the Guguile Vaparetto stop and is easy to spot as the boat goes by. The area is much quieter than Rialto or St Mark's square so I felt safe as a single traveller. I stayed in a shared apartment, I didn't realise this when I booked but I did know I was sharing a bathroom. I'd happily use the apartment again and stay for longer as the fully equipped kitchen means I could go sling the road to the markets to pick up some gorgeous Italian food and do Venice on a budget! There's a supermarket not a long walk too if you follow the signs for the Rilto you'll eventually find it on your left.The staff were very friendly and helpful, even loaned me a travel adapter when I realised the one I packed didn't work. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The price was also great - less than £50 for room only. Check out is 11am and you can leave your bag if you have more exploring to do. The train station is easy to find only 10min walk. Would recommend

Pros: Beautiful decorated rooms in 18th century venetian style. a wonderful surprise. lovely service for breakfast outside on the canals.
