"Wonderful hotel in the heart of venice"
Pros: Wonderful hotel in the heart of venice. excellent value, clean spacious rooms, nice history associated with the hotel. one of the most unique hotels i have ever stayed in. i would definetly go back. nice restaurant on the grand canal. excellent staff, helpful and attentive. no i am not being paid to say this.....i would most definitely go back. room service excellent. right next to the tragetto stop and vaporetto stop. make sure you take a water taxi to hotel, expensive but worth it. this hotel is truly a gem.
Cons: Unfortunately i had to leave and travel home....

"The whole experience was outstanding"
Pros: The whole experience was outstanding. right from when we entered and could see the grand canal right to the left of us. the staff was amazing, the building is impressive, and in the room they had a bottle of prosecco chilling on ice with a small plate of chocolates to welcome us. the room was great and so was the bathroom. the whole building is so rich with history and is really breath-taking. in short, i would reccommend this hotel to every person i know if they were going to venice.
Cons: Nothing.

Staying in this location provides simple access to popular attractions including Fondaco dei Turchi and Camerlenghi Palace. Guests who require easy public transport links are well catered for by the close proximity of Santa Lucia Station. Goldoni Theatre and Rossini Theatre are situated close enough to be reached on foot from here. Impressive structures are not far from here. Church of San Giovanni Crisostomo, for example, is very simple to get to.
