 "Excellent service"
We had a excellent stay in this hotel. The first night the room was a little bit small but the reception changed it immediately the second day. It was a very beautiful room, big with an excellent view. The staff was very helpful and gentile. When we will plan to travel again in Venice, I am sure that we will choose again the same hotel.

Cons: The breakfast was very poor indeed. asked for brown bread was told it was a sunday so they did not have any at all. the fruit that was served for breakfast was out of a large tin and very mushy!! the bacon and eggs was very poorly served and cold.

Wonderful stay

The large size of Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal is complemented by the consistency of its quality. It is comforting to know that the rooms are of a 4-star level. Rossini Theatre and Goldoni Theatre are both just a short walk away from here. Not only Scalzi Bridge, but also Scuola Grande di San Rocco and Foscari Palace, are a pleasant walk's distance from here. During your stay in Venice, a visit to either Fondaco dei Turchi or Accademia Galleries is more than worth it. This accommodation is close to Church of San Simeone Piccolo.

Besides an impressive selection of bedrooms, Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal also has common areas such as a garden, a restaurant and a bar/lounge. Breakfast is free at this accommodation. You find a gift shop here and more for your shopping needs during your stay in Venice. A baby-sitting service is one of the hotel's services.
