Cons: Too expensive (though everything in venice is). room was hotter than outside. 32 degrees c in the room.

"The location was excellent, the hotel was very close to piazza san marco"
Pros: The location was excellent, the hotel was very close to piazza san marco. the breakfast was quite good. staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: It was incredibly difficult to find the hotel in the maze of streets, and the information on the website does not help at all. our double room (i.e. two single beds of different heights pushed together!!) was very, very small and we were sharing 1 shower and 2 toilets with all the other rooms on our floor. it was extremely hot in the room as there was no air conditioning, only a standing fan which didn't do very much to cool the room. we had to open the windows so as not to suffocate, and there were no fly screens on the windows so i ended up with about 40 mosquito bites all over me (i wish i were joking). also, if you had the fan in front of the window you couldn't use the sink or get out of bed on that side.

Pros: Located right next to the san marco
Cons: Very small room, bathroom was not clean, very hot on the second floor, probably because of the restaurant kitchen on the first floor. window view is one of the worst i ever seen. no ac, fans were not working. miskitos all around :(

"We were impressed by the staff"
Pros: We were impressed by the staff...and the breakfast was of great value. we did find it by asking the locals to help us, however your directions made it difficult to find. the staff were able to speak english and this helped us in how to get to where we wanted to go.a pleasant stay, thank you!

Santa Lucia Station makes for simple accesibility to the surrounding area. Goldoni Theatre and Rossini Theatre are situated close enough to be reached on foot from here.
