St Mark's square Venice
St. Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco) is the world’s most romantic square. It is where lovers and shoppers alike come to see some of the famous sights of Venice. It is truly a place to see some of the city’s finest architecture. Byzantine, Gothic and Renaissance structures are all in the confines of this Square. It is no wonder many a visitor tries to find a budget hotel within walking distance of St. Mark’s Square in Venice. They want to sample all of what the city has to offer them. If you feel tired, sit down in one of the many small cafés. They are in the Procuratie Vecchie and the Procuratie Nuove. These arcades run on either side of the square.
