If you can, find a hotel near the Fondazione Querini Stampalia Museum in Venice. This large palazzo dates from the 16th century. Its style arose from the work of an old Venetian: Querini Fasar. It housed a treasury of furnishings, sculpture and paintings. In 1868, the last remaining family member gave the Palazzo and its collection to a foundation. The Fondazione Querini Stampalia now bears his name.

The Fondazione Querini Stampalia Museum contains works by several Venetian masters. It covers the period from the 14th to the 16th century.
