Several rooms in the hotel were once occupied by the famous musical composer Antonio Vivaldi. The property, run by a friendly and knowledgeable team, offers a charming, recently-refurbished environment. Guests will enjoy a rich buffet breakfast in the adjacent Aciugheta Wine Bar & Restaurant, renowned for its excellent selection of wines and terrific variety of cicchetti (bite-sized snacks and appetizers such as meat-balls, small stuffed peppers and freshly baked mini-pizzas topped with anchovies).

Pros: The staff was friendly and attentive. i liked the location of the hotel. it is centrally located, close to the key sights that city has to offer. enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
Cons: No. . .not really. only negative is that we would like to have wifi availability.

Pros: Great location. the hotel is just minutes away from st mark's square and there were plenty of choices for restaurants nearby. they were all rather pricey though. room was clean and spacious.
Cons: Quite a few essential facilities were lacking. there was no elevator and we had to heave our luggage up 3 flights of narrow stairs to get to our room. no tv. no proper towels (we actually thought they were extra bedsheets!). it was challenging to take a shower especially during winter when we went as the cold and hot water alternates almost every 5 seconds!
