 "Excellent hotel for family trip to Venice and Lido"
I highly recommend Rivamare Hotel to those with moderate budget who want to make the most of their trip to Venice and then relax on the quiet, beautiful and green Lido di Venezia. Especially I liked the fact that the rooms have wooden floor, not the stinky carpets as it is often the case (even with hotels with more stars). The rooms are very spacious, with lots of space in wardobes, the bathrooms are clean and very good standard. I also loved a generous breakfast, much above Italian average, in a cosy, family-friendly dining room. Thumbs up!

Pros: Although on the lido, it was very easy to take the regular bus from just around the corner to the water taxi, and on to st marks. the room was superb with good space throughout. girlfriend loved the bamboo effect, and the fridge was really useful. there was a well appointed and clean bathroom, and the balcony was an ample size. the dining area was very pleasant, and the breakfast varied with plenty to eat. there was a misunderstanding concerning whether breakfast was included in our booking for which i must shoulder some of the blame. the staff were friendly and dealt with the issue in a professional and understanding manner. i would like to thank the rivamare staff for their contribution to a wonderful venetian experience.
