Thanks to its location in Piazzale Roma facing the Grand Canal, Hotel Santa Chiara Venice has a very convenient strategic position. Close to the hotel you will find all you need to transport yourself across the city, including the bus, Vaporetto, taxi boat and taxi car, train station and parking place. The hotel is also very close to the cruise terminal.

Hotel Santa Chiara in Venice is very cosy and furnished in a Venetian style. The hall is quite big and overlooks the Grand Canal, as well as the bar, open until 23:00, and the breakfast rooms. On the Piazzale Roma side there is a nice courtyard with flowers and a small waterfall.

The rooms are also furnished in a tasteful Venetian style and some of them have a view of the Grand Canal. They are all soundproofed and equipped with a private bathroom with shower and hair-dryer, as well as a variety of other useful facilities. Hotel Santa Chiara Venice also has rooms that are adapted for wheelchair access.

Pros: The staff were all so friendly, the maid ran me down on the street to give me something i had forgotten in the room!! the receptionist seemed more like a formal butler... we "shared" and espresso at 5am - as i ran out to make it to my airplane. i feel this place has the true "heart and soul" of the city
