Venice International University is located on the Island of Servolo in the Venetian Lagoon. You can reach it in 10 minutes, if you take a boat from San Marco Square. The University was founded in 1995. It chose to renovate the existing monastery complex. The University and its partners are still renovating and restoring the old religious buildings for use.
