The hotel is located within few steps from the BRA piazza, rooms spacious compared to most other Europian hotels. Breakfast is good but service is bit limited when crowded. Staffs are great and always willing to help.

The staff of the Trieste Hotel made us feel really welcome, offered helpful advice on sight-seeing, and gave us a choice of rooms in a very nice way. The breakfasts were the best we've had in our two weeks in northern Italy and we would definitely recommend this hotel and the city of Verona to others.

We spent two nights in this hotel in order to go to the Verona opera. It was about 5 minutes walk from the arena. This is rather a quirky hotel and rather nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, but they were only putting out about 3 croissants at a time. Don't know if this was because they were heated! We asked for a quiet room and got one at the back of the hotel. However, the noise from the reception could be heard quite clearly in our room. They also have free use of bikes. We were up early on the second morning and had a rather cool shower.

Very comfortable stay. The hotel was modern but with period features and spotless. Room was well turned out with a balcony with great views. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit. Highly recommended

Pros: I had an unusual experience, arriving fresh from the emergency room for treatment for a serious knee injury. i was mostly immobile, and dependent on assistance. also, we speak almost no italian, so communication was a barrier. the hotel staff were very accommodating, understanding and helpful. my wife and i were both very grateful, and couldn't have hoped for a better reception.
Cons: All i can comment on was the quality of the room (fine, for the price) and the staff since i couldn't do anything else. i hope to return to verona in better circumstances, and would stay in the same hotel.
