Izu Hotels and Accommodation

The town of Izu is located on a bay at the western base of the Izu peninsula, a popular tourist destination in Shizuoka Prefecture, also the home of legendary Mount Fugi. The road along the bay to the west of the peninsula is a popular route for bicycling and motorcycling trips. Visitors also enjoy taking the train from nearby Namazu to points along the peninsula. Mount Fugi can be clearly seen from Izu and along the west coast of the peninsula.
