Originally built around 1880, this country hotel in Liepaja, Latvia, was newly renovated in recent years, providing ideal accommodation for peaceful relaxation away from the noise and stress of the city. Jurnieka Ligzda - Seaman's Nest is only a 5-minute walk away from the beach of the Baltic Sea, about 4 miles/6 km south of Liepaja. A short walk through a beautiful pine wood takes guests from the Seaman's Nest, which is the English translation for Jurnieka Ligzda, to the white sandy beach, and there are several outdoor basketball, football, and beach-volleyball courts located near the hotel. The newest entertainment and sports facility is a small indoor ice rink, where you can do ice-skating all year round.
