The River Lielupe is located in the country of Latvia. It is about seventy five miles long and is connected to The River Memele. The start of the river is located where The River Memele and the Musa River connect. The river extends to its lower part where it runs parallel to the Gulf of Riga. Another interesting fact about the river is that it is negotiable for almost the whole seventy five miles and also that almost half of the water of the river is from snow discharge.
The River Lielupe can be navigated by tourists however it is most commonly visited for the beautiful bridge over the river. The bridge is a beautiful piece of Latvian architecture and is definitely one of the main reasons people; both tourists and locals visit the river.
