Comprised of 17th and 18th century buildings, the Cloister of Pazaislis is known to boast of among the most beautiful examples of ecclesiastical architecture bearing the Baroque style in the whole of northern Europe. Featuring a hexagonal design in its exteriors, the facade of the church in the monastery shows very clear traces of Italian Baroque influences that was very much prevalent during its time of construction. The church's interiors that are adorned with vibrantly colored frescoes and splendid sculptures make coming to the monastery and discovering its church one of the best things to do in Kaunas.
