Having undergone a recent renovation, the Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit was originally constructed during the 17th century, right on the site where trade routes converged. With brilliant adornments and icons, the church can be easily accessed from some of the main hotels in Vilnius. It is also where you can view the bodies of the Saints Ivan, Anthony and Eustachius, martyred saints whose remains have been preserved well. These bodies are dressed in black during Lent, white during Christmases and red on other days. However, every June 26, the bodies of these saints are presented naked. It is believed that this is the day when a healing presence is largely felt in the church.
