Set at the foot of the hill of Gediminas, the Museum of Applied Art is located near some major hotels in Vilnius. Here, you will be able to view the permanent display of the sacral folk art of Lithuania from the 17th to the 20th century as well as a number of professional sacral artworks from the 15th to the 19th centuries. Oriental artworks from the Algimantas Miskinis collection are also exhibited in the museum. Over the years, the museum has featured temporary exhibits like the 17th to 18th century banners of Lithuania's Grand Duchy that were displayed in July 15 to October 15 of 2006.
