The Fitzroy is a comfortable and friendly hotel located in a lovely area in the centre of London, close to excellent public transportation facilities. The rooms are comfortable and all have en-suite facilities with shower and W.C. The hotel is situated just off Fitzroy Street one of London's finest square in an attractive and bright neighborhood. The underground stations at Warren Street and at Great Portland Street are two minutes' walk from the hotel. An Internet Point is available in the lobby area.

There were no positive experiences-they had no record that i had booked the room. they were very rude. they ushered us out & were very threatening. said they had never heard of easy to book . com!!!
When myself and my 9 year old daughter arrived - the member of staff -a lady- who opened the door (c.8pm), wouldnt let us in,she said they were full. when i explained we booked thru the internet, she let us into the townhouse...which didnt seem like it had many people staying there... she then left the house with a mail colleague without telling us where to go to find any reception staff.bad first impression was fully confirmed. when we went down stairs to meet the grumpy male senior citizen who told us to go away...we have never heard of easy to book .com. he his his name tag from me!! we were left stranded in london with nowhere to stay, with many hotels in the centre fully booked!!! we had to get phone my husband- who managed to find us somewhere to stay-near victoria, at 10pm!!!! while we waited around at the station alongside dubious passers by in kings cross.we are worried that the £61room fee will still be deducted from our account-what advice do you give? what action are you going to take as a result?Anonymous
