The Grange Lancester Hotel is located on the quieter side of London's West End and provides a comfortable, peaceful retreat accentuating original Georgian features. The lovely Garden is a favourite area, particuarly with conference and business guests looking to relax between meetings or sessions. The small fountain, shrubs and nicely maintained trees create a delightful area that guests truly appreciate. The hotel critic Harrison Brown had several comments, finding the Grange Lancaster Hotel to be a lovely small brand new hotel with nicely decorated rooms, a superb location just a ten minute walk from theatreland and attentive, smartly dressed staff. The breakfast rooms and lounge rooms are charming, though there were no toilets in many bedrooms there were showers in each of the rooms, an each floor has a shared male and female toilet on the landing located outside the room. Only a couple of other rooms share the toilets so a line is unlikely, although some people prefer private facilities and only a few rooms offer full private toilet facilities. The bedrooms, even without toilets, are beautifully appointed and of three star deluxe standard for a cheap rate, though they may rate around two star because of the shared WC.
