The No. Five Cavendish Square Hotel is in a beautiful, Grade II listed building in London's West End that used to be the Spanish Embassy. The owner/designer of the Hotel No. Five Cavendish Square, Anglo-Italian entrepreneur Jay Maggistro, ensures each room is bespoke by design, with lovely antiques and fabrics from Asia and Italy.
The No. Five Cavendish Square Hotel is a boutique hotel and each of the eight suites are individually themed in Yellow, Red, Maroon, Grape, Blue and Purple to Egyptian. The suites are each a lavish affair and most feature king size beds, DVD players, opulent marble bathrooms and double-ended baths complimented by the unique No. 5 bath menu. Your bath can even be filled to the brim with pure champagne as you enjoy a bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal and aromatherapy.
The Hotel also features a library, decadent private dining room and lounge, catering for up to 24 people and stunning views over Cavendish Square. The Ground Floor Bar offers an extensive range of cocktails and bar snacks in an environment with mahogany tone and velvet seating that lead onto a patio garden that is ideal for summer cocktails. The Cristal Bar is the VIP lounge with its own bar and DJ facilities. The Cigar Bar has a great selection of specialist spirits and cigar brands, giving it the feel of a gentlemen's club. The restaurant on the first floor seats 80 people and serves lunch and dinner. Chef Claudio Barchieri created a sumptuous European menu with Italian influences and a wine list of 150 wines from around the globe. There is also a pianist and double bass duo that perform jazz on most evenings.
