BOH Tea Plantation is owned by the makers of the finest tea in Malaysia which has the same name. The tea plantation in this area started in 1929 when John Archibald Russell found it to be the best place to plant tea. This plantation in Cameron Highlands is one of the three plantations of BOH. The company is known to produce at least 70% of the total tea consumption in the country.
Tourists who come to this place will be up for a challenge in getting here. The road is quiet narrow but it’s worth it once you get there because you'll have great sights of Pahang from the Cameron Highlands. A free tour is conducted in the processing plant and parts of the area. There’s also a tea house which serves as an observation point to see how vast the plantation is. Enjoy a wide variety of tea with a magnificent view of the plantation which is unique among Pahang attractions. The tea house and the plantation are closed every Monday.
