Be closer to nature by visiting and enjoying the Titi Kerawang Waterfalls. Titi Kerawang or locally called “Air Terjun Titi Kerawang” is a simple but beautiful waterfall that sits within the forests of Penang. Easily accessible, the road signs always lead to the forest and to the waterfall. There’s actually only one waterfall there and it’s a little bit small to accommodate many people. Every weekend, expect locals and tourists to cram the area so it’s best to go there during the weekdays.

Once you arrive in the area, you’ll be walking a little bit – at least 100 meters to get closer to the waterfall but you’ll be able to see the waterfall from where you park. There are also stalls there that sell fresh fruits right from the forest. The area that surrounds the waterfall is quiet large so you can set up a picnic area to go back after a good swim or just sit there and appreciate the beautiful nature. This place has been developed for Penang tourism and has become one of the simple yet remarkable sights in Penang.
