The Petronas Twin Towers is undoubtedly one of the most popular Kuala Lumpur Attractions. Set in the very lively Kuala Lumpur City Centre, the Petronas Twin Towers is only 88 floors but considered to be one of the tallest buildings in the world. The structure is constantly compared to other notable buildings such as the Sears Tower. As the name suggests, the towers are owned by the country’s national oil company. It was unveiled for public use in 1998. The rooms are used as offices of some of the world’s biggest companies including Microsoft Corporation, Reuters and Bloomberg.
Tourists should be able to visit the building Tuesdays to Sundays during office hours. The tour is centered around the structure but the main attraction of the Petronas Twin Towers is the Skybridge. Located in the 41st to the 42nd floor, tourists will have a bird’s eye view of the sights of Kuala Lumpur. The tour is completely free however tourists have to get a ticket which can be difficult to get because they are limited.
