This 19th century structure is an intricately designed structure located right in the middle of the city. You can easily locate this as this structure is located just in front of the Independence Square. Amazingly, the structure is preserved as it is, surviving World War II in top condition. Although it experienced destruction in 1978 because of a massive flood, work was immediately done to the structure which practically improved the original structure. The structure used to house the offices of British Colonialists. Currently it’s being used by the Supreme Court of the country and it is still among the top Kuala Lumpur attractions.
Whether morning or evening, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building is a picturesque structure. Every morning, you’ll be able to visit the inside of the building while at night; lights have been placed around the building to accentuate parts of its structure. Aside from the building, you can appreciate the structures that surrounds it. Every August 31, this building is the center of activities in Kuala Lumpur as the citizens celebrate the National Day Parade.
