The Muzium Negara is the country’s national museum. The structure was built during the end of the 19th century and was previously known as the Selangor Museum. The structure of the museum shows the classic architecture that is native to the country. The architecture is called the Minangkabau which is a design of the country’s traditional homes. The museum was unfortunately bombed during the World War II but it was eventually reconstructed. The Muzium Negara was formally opened to the public in 1963 becoming one of the top attractions in Kuala Lumpur.

Prepare a small fee for entrance but kids below 12 years old and those in school uniform can enter for free.
