Mexico City’s Zinco Jazz Club is a unique club with incredible acoustics thanks to being built inside of what once was a bank, with the former vaults being used for the show room. A very popular club, anyone wanting to get a seat here should make a reservation, as it tends to be completely packed every day of the week. Once seated, you’ll find a menu with light snacks and a very wide selection of drinks, which, like any self respecting jazz bar, focuses heavily on scotches and bourbons. Throughout most of the week, you can enjoy the Mexico City flavor of jazz with local acts, and on Thursday, dig the scene with a different style as the club hosts out of town jazz cats.
The Zinco Jazz Club is often declared the number one entertainment spot in the city for music lovers, and of course, jazz enthusiasts in particular. There’s a ten dollar entry fee on Friday and Saturday, but admission is free for the rest of the week.
