The Paseo de la Reforma was originally named ‘The Emperor’s Avenue’, and for obvious reason. A walk along this avenue is simply breathtaking.

The streets are lined, packed, in fact, with incredible examples of tasteful architecture in the form of various office buildings, age old residential areas, and banks which have been converted into the likes of embassies, luxury hotels, museums, art galleries and monuments. The origins of the architectural styles here lie include neocolonial, post-modern, art deco, French and functionalist. The site is of supreme interest to architecture buffs.
