Pros: The hotel itself was well appointed. the spa services were very good. the food was of excellent quality.
Cons: Yes, several things happened. i was very unhappy "paying" again and at a much higher rate for the hotel. when i arrived they did not have my reservation. they booked me into an occupied room, then wanted me to wait in the hallway on the 5th floor while they went to fix it. no, i did not stnd there and wait. hotel staff did very little to explain their services and where things were and how they worked. they had "room service" but you couldn't order it from your room you had to go down and order it and either take it up yourlsef or have someone bring it up for you. naturally, i took it up myself. i tried to over a week to get information on their spa services ( my primary reason for staying there) and did not get clear description or pricing in spanish or english.

Pros: Very friendly staff. large clean and airy room. bathroom updates were nice.
Cons: Coffee and tea are offered in the lobby free of charge early in the morning and at "tea time" in the afternoon. i know it's free, but the coffee was always cold.

Pros: Our room had sea & pool view, good king size bed. staff is very efficient. adult only hotel, no kinder sceaming in the pool (yesss !).
Cons: Problem with hot water during two days (first day, not very hot, second day, cold water only).

Pros: On the quiet side of cancun but it was exactly what i wanted.if you did want to go into town(beach cancun)it was only a short bus journey.pleasure to wake up in the morning if you get a ocean view room,slept with doors open all night.
Cons: Using the local bus is cheap(7.5 pesos;50cents)from the hotel to anywhere,all the way into downtown cancun.i did notice though,when tourist asked bus drivers how much they replied 75 pesos and not 7.5 and didn't put the paper money in the money tray......very naughty!not all drivers but at least 3 i noticed.
