Pros: Very nice breakfast, staff, and great location. the terrace, overlooking the medina, was incredible.
Cons: Our bathroom was so filled with mold, that the smell actually kept us awake. also, earplugs are recommended! we were on the top floor and could hear every word throughout the riad.

Everything was arranged very well

Guest house Riad Hala offers affordable accommodation in central Fez, Morocco. Housed in a traditional 17th century Moroccan palace with an interior garden, it still belongs to the same noble Fassi family. Ideally situated in the Batha district, within walking distance from the Medersa Bouanania and Moorish blue city door Bab Boujloud, this riad has been recently renovated and nicely furnished in order to become a quality guest house. All 6 Moorish-styled guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating system, and one of the 2 suites offers a stunning view over the Medersa - or Grand Mosque - one of the most important religious places in Morocco. There is also a roof terrace where to enjoy the greatest view over the Medina, Fez' old town. This beautiful city property offers a refined atmosphere, the staff is helpful and the owners are particularly friendly. Excursions and guided city tours can be organized upon request, ask the staff at the reception for details. All the secret ingredients are here combined to make your holiday in Morocco an unforgettable one.
