Oudkerk (Aldtsjerk) hotels and accommodation

The town of Oudkerk bears significant historical value because it’s role during the 80 years war. Now the town is known by their Frisian name Aldtsjerk. In a weekend, Oudkerk is visited by tourists because of its postcard like atmosphere. People also go to this place because of the Heemstra State, home of the town’s most famous family. Near the state and some of the Oudkerk cheap hotels is the 17th century church named after the new town, Aldtsjerk Church. These aren’t only the reasons why tourists stay in town’s discount hotels; Oudkerk is also close to the town of Workum. There you’ll find a museum of one of the Netherlands celebrated artists, the Jopie Huisman Museum.
