Gulpen Hotels and Accommodation

Gulpen takes its name from the River Gulp which runs right through the center of the village. This provides a perfect natural feature to sit next to or walk along, and adds to the tranquility of the settlement. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel in Gulpen, try to get one overlooking the river for a great view. There are a number of sites of interest in the village. One of these is St. Petrus Church which was built in 1924 and is in a Neo-Romanesque style.
Also worth seeing is the Romanesque tower in the old cemetery. This 11th century tower originally belonged to a church built at the same time, but now it is the only part to survive.
