Noord-Brabant (North-Brabant) in the Netherlands is a region full of waterways and ponds to the north and west as well as sand drifts, moors, and coniferous and deciduous forests in the south and east. There are quiet villages and town to explore. In Asten, there is the National Carillon Museum, celebrating all things to do with bells. If you are in the North-Brabant region, however, you will most likely want to visit Eindhoven, the fifth largest city in Holland. You might want to try for a weekend in Eindhoven. There are several things to see in the city, including the Steentjeskerk Church. There are also many things to do in Eindhoven. Major Eindhoven sights, however, include the Philips Light Tower dating from 1921. There are also other North-Brabant attractions related to the Philips Company. They reflect the industrial heritage and some of Eindhoven culture. There is the Philips Museum in the Philips Light Bulb Factory. In addition, the city has a DAF car museum. You can also visit a representative of the larger cultural picture at the Municipal Van Abbe Museum or the Museum of Kempenland Eindhoven. The latter provides the history of the city and region.
