Eindhoven has various festivals and events, most of them held during the second half of the year. Among the places to visit in this city is the Kempenland Museum Eindhoven. The museum is housed in a classic 19th century structure. Inside are the artifacts that chronicles the past of Eindhoven before they became a flourishing city. The Van Abbe Museum was opened to the public in 1936. It houses the works of some of the world’s most renowned contemporary artists such as Picasso, Weiner and Chagall.
