 "Great Location"
Gr8 location good access to city. Room VERY small! Bed NOT comfy, no curtain on shower so water ends up all over the floor. Good breakfast, but coffee/tea is NOT complimentary after 10am..disappointing

 "Small friendly hotel"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the A Train Hotel in Amsterdam, it was like staying in a friendly B & B. we were even given breakfast when we arrived at the hotel after our long flight & our room was ready at 10 30 am. We would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Amsterdam. Location very central & breakfast excellent.

 "Nice Hotel"
Good place to stay very clean and friendly helpful staff. Great location right outside central station and close to bars and eateries and red light district. Will be going back. Price includes breakfast but you have to pay for tea and coffee which I don't understand, orange juice is free though !

 "Really nice hotel"
Hotel was really nice and the staff were very friendly. Central location opposite Central Station and close to lots of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was included which was brilliant. Room was small but we only slept in it so it didn't matter.

 "Well above average"
One of the better 3 star hotels in Amsterdam. If I had to complain - it would be about the breakfast. Other than that - a good hotel. The Bellevue hotel ( very close to a-train ) is also good. Both in excellent locations , both clean . If I could not get into the A-train then I would try for Bellevue... one noticeable difference - Bellevue does not have porn on the TV , A-train does !

 "Brilliant"
Stayed with friends, location amazing, room was just what we wanted and the staff could not do enough to help. Really cold in the centre but was not a problem in the hotel as the heating was always on so no cold room. Will def stay here again as for excellent for value for money

 "nice train hotel"
this small and very typical hotel, for admirors of trains, photo's and accessories around, this is fantastic. the location is excellent, in front of the central station, close to shops and the wallekes. a lot of pubs and restaurants at walking distance.

 "Good all round hotel."
We have finally found a good all round hotel stay in at Amsterdam. A-Train Hotel has the whole package, which made are weekend break very relaxed, comfortable and more enjoyable. Thanks for great service and will be staying here again in the near future.

Good location for all the interests. Expected the room to be bigger,especially for a Deluxe!. Very friendly staff with very good service with a decent breakfast.. Overall quite good.Lesser rooms are quite small though..

 "Great location"
Undoubtedly the best thing about this hotel is the location. It is right opposite the train station, and a very easy walk to much of central Amsterdam. Leaving bags was very easy which meant we could really enjoy our final day and had only the smallest of walks to the station before our train was due to depart. The hotel was very clean, and overall much better than I had expected from the reviews that I had read. The room was very small, but as we spent most of our time out, that was not a problem. The beds were very comfortable and clean, and we slept very well. The breakfast was limited but ok. Overall I would recommend this hotel and probably choose it again if I went back to Amsterdam.

 "Take the A-train"
This was our first trip to Amsterdam and we were delighted to find the hotel so close to the station. Most frontages in Amsterdam are very narrow and we were very impressed with the way this narrowness had been turned to their advantage with the railway theme - the railtrack design in the floor, the Pullman effect in the dining area and all the rail paraphernalia. The rooms were small but well appointed, likewise the bathroom. Our only problem was the noise from the trams in the street below. We partially overcame this by keeping our window closed and using the fan provided. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was within easy walking distance of many attractions and the tram stop was just over the road for those further afield.

 "A Train Two Night Stay"
The hotels that I usually stay in were booked so I found this one on the internet. The location and value were great and the train theme was interesting. The staff was very helpful but I had some issues with the internet that were resolved. I'll come back.

 "HOME FROM HOME"
I can not fault this hotel with a great location, the hotel is spotlessly clean with clean crisp fresh linen, the rooms very warm and welcoming and again spotless the staff are very welcoming and friendly, its just like going home, the hotel facilities are very good. The view from the hotel is great looking out over the canal and central station and the noise is minimum at night with a fantastic night time view. A great all round hotel

 "Cozy, nice hotel with good price / quality ratio"
We decided to go to this hotel because is near Multatuli Hotel (50 m away) where we have been last year: A-Train is really unique cause of his furniture (Trains, train posters everywhere, train furniture during breakfast). The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and is well located for people coming from the railway station that is 2 minutes by foots away.We took one standard room and one superior room: the first one was really tiny, and the second one was OK, a little bit noisy with a beautiful view.

Pros: The a train hotel is always clean the staff are always on hand to help and nothing is too much , the breakfast is alwyas well presented and fresh. the room is always clean with frsn linin and towels daily if you requireall rooms have private bathrooms which is always clean, i have stayed at this hotel 3 times and on each visit have never had any complaint, a grat friendly family hotel

In the Pullman lounge you can enjoy a continental breakfast buffet and relax with a drink and a snack afterwards. The breakfast consists of beschuit (special Dutch breakfast biscuit), butter and margarine, jam assortments, chocolate paste, honey, hazelnut paste, ham, chickenfilet and cheese, cornflakes and muesli, boiled eggs, various coffees, tea and hot chocolate, milk and fruit juice, and white, dark and raison bread. A toaster is available.
