Great location around the corner from the art museums and vondelpark. front desk staff were reasonably helpful, but didn't go out of their way to help us locate a particular store we were looking for.
Our room (a triple) was just the essentials and showed some wear and tear, but was adequate. breakfast wasn't anything special, but adequate.

Good room and bathroom facilities, and pleasant bar
The hotel is currently being renovated on the outside, so the windows of many rooms are obscured by tarpaulins (ie no view out!)and scaffolding - and there is constant drilling from 8am to 5pm every day. i think this should have been explained to us before we booked.

One staff member was extremely informative and willing to help with directions. the others were totally uninterested
The stairs to the breakfastroom are extremely steep and narrow, impossible if someone was infirm. this hotel is not set up for anyone unable to climb stairs.

Helpful staff.good breakfast.
Double room very small.the gap between end of bed and tv shelf too narrow to walk through without having to lean over to avoid walking into shelf.unable to sit up in bed without hitting head on overhead light.

Helpful staff. parking advice useful.relaxed atmosphere and lovely location. easy access to van gogh museum and restaurants.
The steep stairs would be a problem for some people. there is a lift but you have to wait a while as in use a lot. reduced hotel residents parking would be greatly appreciated.

This hotel was in an excellent position for the museums. just a short walk and you are in the lively are of leidesplein. breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of bread, cheese, ham and eggs etc.
Very steep stairs, but there is a small lift. bedrooms were tiny, but adequate. bathrooms were a good size.

Very good clean room and friendly man on check in/out desk
I booked a room where i had requested a smoking room. not particulary impressed by almost being told off by one of the hotel staff for having smoked in the room. was told it would be preferable to go outside as new covers had been put on bed. to be honest greatly inconvenienced me on last night there.really enjoyed stay apart from this, but for that reason alone, won't be returning.
