How to reach the Albus Grand Hotel?Coming from Utrecht / Amersfoort, A2 direction Amsterdam At the end of the highway at the traffic lights you turn right. (exit number S110 President Kennedylaan). Follow the Amsteldijk till the end where you reach the Stadhouderskade, turn left into the Stadhouderskade(S100)
Go straight onto the Stadhouderskade until you see the Heineken Brewery on your left-hand side. At these traffic lights you turn right (Weteringlaan). At the roundabout you can straight on into the Vijzelgracht, and this changes into the Vijzelstraat. After 400 meters you will find the Albus Grand Hotel on your right hand side. You will find parking facilities in Geelvinck Parking Lot (Reguliersdwarsstraat, 200m) or Stopera Parking Lot (Waterloo square 950m)
From Schiphol Airport
You can choose to take a taxi, Shuttle bus (stops in front of the hotel) or train to Central Station.
Public transportation
From Central Station you can take: Tram 4, 9, 16, 24 and 25 (Stop at Munt, third stop from Central Station)

The hotel is situated in a pleasant central location - all staff were friendly helpful and informative - my mother and sisters shared a room for 4 which was modern, spacious and very cleanWould have appreciated tea and coffee making facilities in the roomBoyle

Excellent location, very clean bathroom.We requested a non smoking room but when we checked in, they had allocated us a smoking room. this was changed immediatelty but then we had a room on the ground floor which was, whilst clean, was very "average" and not what was advertised/pictured as being their standard room.Clark

Great location, friendly staff. Breakfast is very expensive. no coffee/tea making facilities in the hotel nor a mini bar/fridge. all the rooms are different shapes and configuration. images shown on this website are the deluxe rooms, not the standard room - a little misleading. the room i stayed in had no shower curtain which was a little odd. booked two same rooms, but 1 room had a luggage rack, coffee table and chairs of which the other room did not have. also this room's bathroom was more of a wet room but no indication was given or choice when given our room.
