"Lovely little hotel"

Great hotel, close to Anne Frank Haus, and Leidisplan, the nightlife area. If you are a walker, you can walk anywhere in Amsterdam, if not the no. 13 tram takes you up to central station. Supermarket and ATM across the road, tram stop outside the door for the No.13, licensed deli across the road approx 150 m away. Staff are extremely helpful, fresh fruit and coffee available free all day. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel!

"very good value,with choice of rooms for everyones budget"

All staff very friendly,tram 13 takes you to outside the door,can be noisy from tram noise, but the hotel did supply earplugs,we never really noticed as slept very well.Ask for 1st floor as with most propertys in Amsterdam the steep spiral stairs could be a problem to some!,Slight comment the breakfast choice is good and fresh,but we went down most mornings around 9(,they serve till 10) and they don't seem to restock ad a few items were not replaced,Otherwise nice small hotel,there is always hot drinks and fruit available,for a short break would recommend ,but any longer would try nearer the city centre.

Cons: Further away from centre than i thought. small twin room was really small. on the other hand the standard double room was very pleasant.

Pros: My 16 yr old son & i stayed here for 2 nights and found it excellent in all aspects, staff were very friendly, the free coffee and fruit was much appreiated, the whole experience being a good 1.
Cons: Only complaint was a smell coming from the shower unit.

Cons: I booked 2 double rooms and my friend booked a very small room when we arrived we were giving 2 very small rooms and a triple room the manager wasnt to happy about having to rearrange us they ended up givin us another triple room it wasnt what we booked but we got it sorted it wasnt the best start to our weekend

Pros: The staff were very friendly, the hotel is convenient as there is a tram stop right outside the entrance of the hotel, which is excellent for getting around. the staff were very helpful in letting us know where all the tourist hotspots are, and gave us a map to help us along. breakfast was very nice, and hot drinks are free from the vending machine in the reception area.
Cons: Our room was road facing, which was noisy late at night and early in the morning due to all the commuting.

Pros: Complimentary drink on arrival was very welcome and the help from staff in relation to our visit to amsterdam was most appreciated. our bags were very kindly carried up to our room for us. our room was comfortable and the inclusive breakfast was varied, tasty and very enjoyable.
Cons: The steep stair climb to the upper rooms could pose a problem for some potential stayers.

Cons: We changed our room and cancelled the other room directly with the hotel. despite this, they found an excuse to charge us for both rooms. twice daily demands for money! toilet paper and soap had to be requested. the owners spend a lot of time working out how to rip you off. it wasnt like a european hotel. do not risk your money/credit card security on this place. breakfasts were stale bread, olives, tomatoes and various pastries, hams and jams. reminded me of turkish breakfast. really weird place, and a good 30 minute walk to the centre. much better, cheaper places the same distance away. next to a noisy street too. they supply rubbish earplugs in the room which is a clue. their towels stank!!!! some reviews note fresh fruit in the room. this consists of 2 hard green apples that no one ever eats that get passed from room to room by the cleaners. far too clever cheats. nasty. i will not be returning, and if i did, i will remember to bring soap and toilet paper.
