Ambassade Hotel, Amsterdam Hotel Details

Ambassade Hotel Amsterdam consists of ten 17th-century “merchants” houses and stands on the imposing Herengracht in the city centre of Amsterdam. A unique position in one of the most beautiful parts of the city, quiet, yet within walking distance of all major attractions. The houses have been carefully restored to maintain their authentic character.

The amazing Library-Bar contains over 4000 books, all signed by the authors during their stay at the Ambassade Hotel and has an adjacent lounge that can also be hired for small meetings.
On the first floor Brasserie Ambassade is run by Executive Chef Erik Zonjee and his brigade, who specialize in the classic French cuisine.  In this wonderful Brasserie, decorated by art works and large chandeliers and overlooking the canal, each morning an extensive breakfast buffet including a large variety of hot dishes cooked to order  is being served.

Each air-conditioned room includes satellite TV, a seating area and a work desk.  It offers free Wi-Fi, 2 lifts and unique rooms featuring luxurious décor combining art works  from the famous 1950’s-CoBrA movement with Louis XV furnishing.
