 "Fun family trip"
As a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenage children) we stayed at Amstel Botel for 2 nights whilst we visited the sights in Amsterdam. We had a wonderful time, Botel was better than I was expecting having read some reviews. Service was good, breakfast was excellent and bedrooms were clean and of a good standard. The location wasn't an issue as the ferry boats were frequent and punctual. No complaints - all in all an excellent trip

 "Amstel Botel."
This hotel is quite comfortable and in a position which makes it easy to use Amsterdam's free ferry service. The rooms are clean and comfortable - but the bathroom is very small. Breakfast is good and the internet service is fine. The area in which the boat is moored has little of interest - although there is a fine little pub on the "Poolux" boat moored next door!!It was confusing getting to the boat in that the booking did not make it very obvious that we were to catch the public ferry to the wharf - I was looking for a private Botel shuttle ferry.

"highly recommended cheap and fun accomodation"
Fun, quirky accomodation. Facilities are basic but clean, warm and value for money. Rooms are serviced each day and breakfast is plentiful and tasty.Botel is located 10 mins from central station via free ferry service which runs every 15 mins. This was our 3rd stay on Botel, we will be returning soon.
