The apartment features two spacious bedrooms, both of which contain double beds. The bathroom is traditional and features a shower, sink, toilet and shower. The apartment features a lounge room on the roof which also give you access to the spacious roof terrace with comfortable seating. The owners who live on the floor below serve a full breakfast on request with local and organic products. You share the roof terrace with them and their cats keep you company in the apartment once in a while.

This apartment is located right on the Eastern bank of the Amstel River, the river from which Amsterdam takes its name. The Amstel is a stunning waterway filled with elegant houses, charming restaurants, a theatre and Hermitage Museum. Walk along the river, taking in the views and stop along the way for a coffee, beer or wine at many of the charming cafes, bars and restaurants. Café Hesp is a Dutch institution with a great selection of local and Belgian beers. On a warm afternoon take a seat outside and enjoy the view with a cold drink. Cross the river and you find yourself at the Central Canal Belt, a UNESCO World Heritage protected area with amazingly well preserved 17th century canal houses. This part of the city was constructed during the Dutch Golden Age and it is possible to see how wealthy Dutch merchants of the time lived via the Museum Van Loon. Dam Square, with the stunning Royal Palace, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, New Church and De Bijenkorf Department Store is also close by and considered the centre of Old Amsterdam. Both the lively Rembrandt Square, homes to numerous bars, cafes and restaurants and Rembrandt House, where the artist lived and worked for many years are minutes away. This apartment is in a fantastic location, close to the sights and attractions, while public transport can get you anywhere you want to go in just a few minutes.
