Reviews on Amsterdam Wiechmann Hotel Amsterdam
In cooperation with
Cons: Nothing
Cons: the only problem i had was actually locating the hotel, but it is very easy to find yourself lost in amsterdam, especially at night.
Cons: * room on the third floor with no elevator and very narrow stairs! nearly fell down several times.
* only sheet and blanket as bed covers, no duvet. i was freezing!
Cons: Stairs very steep. breakfast could do with more variety but still acceptable.
Cons: Nothing
Cons: As mentioned by others, stairs extremely steep, but we managed! just rather awkward with suitcases when leaving (though the wonderful reception staff helped on arrival)
Cons: No lift made navigating the very steep and winding stairs a challenge with big luggage however this was part of the whole cultural ambiance and really wasn't that bad. upstairs rooms were a little warm (had warm weather) but the portable fan really helped.
Cons: The stairs are steep, which you can expect in a typical dutch building. although these were not a problem for us they could be for anyone who may be infirm.
Cons: The breakfast was ok, nothing great. no lift, so if climbing narrow stairs is a problem, ask for a room on a lower level (starting at 2nd floor).
Cons: Steep stairs would not be suitable for older travellers. otherwise no complaints
