"Great hotel."

This was such a good location to stay in. If this is your first trip to Amsterdam then it may be better to stay closer to Dam Square. I travel to the city 3/4 times a year and would highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was terrific with a great variety. Staff so helpful.The only downside was we did have quite a few noisy guests on our floor. Other than that, give it a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.

"too expensive for what it has to offer"

When booking in a best western, one expects to have a certain level of quality. The rooms were much too small, the type where you have to close the door to access the window or push the chair under the small table to access your bed, etc..; the bed itself was barely long enough to accomodate my modest size, and the noise from the corridor was an accompanying presence all night long. My phone apparentely didn't work so wake up calls in addition to be 15minutes late, were repeated as they couldn't here me answering. Breakfast was bland and basic. So apart from a great location, which by the way could not be enjoyed from the windows of the room, this hotel has very little to offer.

"Anniversary"

Very friendly staff,great location,the decor of the hotel was very good.we upgraded our room but it was on the small side,a nice touch wasa complementary bottle of wine left in our room by the staff for our 40anniversary.Definitely use this hotel again

"Smelly room!!!!"

Firstly, if you don't have a credit card take extra cash 50 euro /night deposit required; not stipulated on easytobook website; . Do not take room21 altho' clean it smells of sewerage. Will not be back.

"Very good hotel. Highly recommented."

The hotel was near the center of the city and near a bus-tram stop. The room was small as all in Amsterdam, but very comfortable. It was a great stay there an I recommented to anyone wants a proper and clean hotel.

A very good experience all round. Staff very polite and helpful and able to give good advice on where to go and how to get there.Good variety of breakfast. Room very comfortable and clean. We would definately stay there again.

"The smalles rooms I've ever seen"

The bathroom smelled like waste water. We complained twice, nothing happened. There are always people taking drugs in front of the hotel. With the thin walls, its always loud. The room was very small.

"An Enjoyable Stay"

This was my first time travelling abroad, and i was impressed with the relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Apollo. The staff are friendly and helpful, my room was comfortable and well priced and there is plenty to see and do near the hotel. When i come back to Amsterdam i'll be staying there again.

"good hotel with good value for money"

this is a good hotel and has good value for money. the room was a bit small - but out of that, it really is a good place.I would go there again. When we were there the internet was a bit problematic, but I guess it will be fixed soon,

"Overall quite ok"

Our room was tiny but clean and quiet. You could order breakfast the night before for a reasonable price of 10 euros. A coffee machine in the room would have made it just perfect.

"Amsterdam Trip"

Small but well designed rooms which were clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a good location with easy access to canal tours and in walking distance of museums and bars and restaurants. Two public computers were for guest use and there was access to wi-fi in rooms. There was a safe in the room as well. The only downside to the hotel was that the ordinary rooms do not have the facilities of the superior rooms such as hairdrier and tea/coffee maker.

We enjoyed the stay and would go back subject to price offer. We originally had a room in the basement and had to change. Breakfast a bit pricey - better just round the corner

"Short Break"

We used this hotel for a short weekend city break. Check in was from 2pm, we arrived at 3pm and were told that our room would not be available for another hour. Although the rooms were clean, they were also tiny. The bed was very uncomfortable and badly needed a new matress. We did not use the dining facilities and therefore cannot comment on these. I can say however that the staff were very helpful and polite.

"excellent !!!"

My friend and I booked this hotel for 4 nights , we absolutely loved it !!! On arriving we were upgraded free of charge the room was very clean and spacious with a lovely marble bathroom. The staff were fantastic always polite and happy to help even the maid told us to borrow a brolly from reception , the location was perfect a 2 minute walk to the hard rock cafe and 5 mins to loads of restaurants and bars with tram stops a couple of minutes away that will wiz you to amsterdam centre . There will always be crumbles by some travellers but we both found this hotel perfect and would defo recommend infact we are hoping to book in here again for april !!!!

"a very good stay at apollo museum hotel"

we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights. everything was great- we were upgraded to a bigger room because we werer staying for 7 nights, the room was clean (absolutly no bed buggs as other tourists reported about other hotels!), good location (15 minutes walk from the center and ledsplein) the tram is super close to the hotel. the staff was great and very helpful and very very nice.the only problems: no coffee kit in the room.the breakfast is ok but expensive- we prefferd to go out and have some coffee out of the hotel (there are resturants and coffee to go and bakeries near by).over all- great stay and good worth for money

"rubbish"

rooms are tiny and i mean tiny, they are very lazy with house keeping and cleaning, i would never stay there again, the bathroom is like a wardrope with a glass door so if you dont mind looking at your partener going the toilet thru a glass door well then you will be fine. the sheets did not get changed and there was dirty tissue under the pillows from who ever stayed in the room before me. overall a big let down!

"clean ant tidy hotel"

We've stayed at this hotel go two days and were pleased of the quality of service and rooms. We got bigger room because they did not have ours for free. It was very big, tidy and beautiful. However, there were some bugs on the sealing. They have with connection everywhere and it works good and is fast. They also let you print your boarding pass or just use a computer in a lobby too. Still a little bit too expensive.
