Stood on the beautiful Herengracht canal, part of Amsterdam’s historic central canal ring, B&B 1657 Amsterdam is around the corner of the popular Rembrandtplein. Numerous famous attractions can easily be reached on foot from here, including Hortus Botanicus, the Hermitage Museum and Dam Square. Trams run through nearby Rembrandtplein, and Waterlooplein metro station is a five minute walk away.

Offering complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the property, 1657 B&B mixes historical charm with modern convenience. The accommodation is set in a classical Amsterdam house with lovely views over the Herengracht, or ‘Gentlemen’s Canal’, which houses some of the capital’s wealthier residents.
