BackStage Hotel Amsterdam Location (Map)
BackStage Hotel is located in the city centre of Amsterdam. All major museums (i.e. the Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House and Van Gogh Museum) are located within walking distance from the hotel.
The famous rock-stages of Paradiso and De Melkweg are just a few minutes walking distance from the hotel. As well as the City Theater, the Concertgebouw and Holland Casino and many restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. Also, Canal boats leave at 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
How to reach the BackStage Hotel?By bus: Take the Interliner bus Connexxion no. 370 and it will take you straight to 'Leidseplein' in about 25 minutes.
By train: Every 5 minutes there is a train from the Airport to Lelylaan Station. Here you take tram no. 1 to the Leidseplein. From 'Leidseplein' you walk into the Marnixstraat and the hotel is across the first bridge on the right corner.
You can also take the train to Central Station and from there take tram no. 1,2 or 5 to 'Leidseplein'. From 'Leidseplein' you walk into the Marnixstraat and the hotel is across the first bridge on the right corner.
By taxi: A taxi will take you in 20 minutes to the hotel and it will cost around 35-40 Euros.
From Amsterdam Central Station
By Tram: take number 1,2 or 5 to 'Leidseplein'. From 'Leidseplein' you walk into the Marnixstraat and the hotel is across the first bridge on the right corner.

The staff couldn't be more helpful. clean rooms and very comfortable as long as you are able to manouver up the steep windy stairs. centrally located in easy walk to everything. can be a little noisy at night due to trams running but not bad enough to stop another stay in the future. enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend to anyone.Dube

Staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpfulHotel was covered in scaffolding when we stayed also not suitable if you are not in the best of health as there is no elevator and the stairs are very steep!!Anonymous
